With 30 years of experience in communication, André Nassar has held leading positions at Leo Burnett São Paulo, FCB, Euro RSCG, and Y&R -Brazil’s largest agency by billings.
In 2007, he joined the creative powerhouse led by Marcello Serpa and Luiz Sanches at AlmapBBDO São Paulo, recognised as the most awarded Brazilian agency globally since 1999, according to the Gunn Report.
His clientele in Brazil included BankBoston, Fiat, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Kellogg’s, Electrolux, Samsung, O Globo Newspaper, Intel, Procter & Gamble, Danone, Nivea, Pfizer, Air France, Vivo Telecom, Claro Telecom, Petrobras, Havaianas, and Pepsi, among others.
In December 2013, André transitioned from his native Brazil to the Middle East, taking on the role of Regional Executive Creative Director for Leo Burnett UAE, Kuwait, and Lower Gulf.
Working with a diverse range of agencies, clients, and networks has shaped him into a highly adaptable and experienced leader, ready to deliver solutions for any brand, media, or challenge.
He led a team of over 60 creatives at Leo Burnett Dubai, guiding them to win more than 50 international awards since 2014, including Cannes Lions, Lynx, D&AD, and LIA.
His leadership and creative expertise helped secure clients such as Emirates Airlines, Dubai Design District, McDonald’s GCC, Emirates NBD Bank, Ferrero, Masafi Water, Al Ain Water, OSN, Dubai Properties, Global Village, Beea’h, MEERAS, MAF (Al Zahia), Omantel, GMC, and Spotify within six years.
In early 2023, André was invited by Dani Richa, Chairman of ImpactBBDO, to lead the creative department of ImpactBBDO Dubai, the top agency in the Middle East and Africa for six consecutive years. His mission was to elevate the creative output and consistency for clients like Etihad Airways, ADCB, Al Hilal, and Shamal, among others.
His portfolio includes 17 Cannes Lions, 3 Grand Prix at Dubai Lynx, and accolades from D&AD, Clio, the London International Awards, and the Effies, highlighting his most significant achievements.
